Nicole, Veterinary Technician

Nicole started as vet tech at our clinic in the spring of 2014. She previously worked at Tri-State Vet Clinic in Kendallville .  In her free time, Nicole likes reading and enjoys the outdoors with her husband.  She is married to Ryan and has two daughters, Evelynn and Eleanor.  She also has four dogs, Sheldon, Bear, Fern and Vernon;  a cat Munson , whom she adores.

Amanda, Registered Veterinary Technician

Amanda is a registered vet tech and began working at Animal Care Clinic of Topeka in February 2016. She is married to Dustin and they have two spoiled puppies, Griffey and Maddux and a kitten, Ivy.  In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading and watching movies and sports with her husband. Go Cubs!

Karissa, Veterinary Assistant

Karissa began working for us in July of 2018.  Her love for animals brought her to us and we are so happy it did.  She takes great care of all the animals she sees.  In her spare time, Karissa enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets.  She has three dogs, Bentley, Gus and Delilah  and a cat named Reggie.

Office Staff:

Jaynee is the office manager and has worked at Animal Care Clinic of Topeka since 1992.  She is the sister of Dr. Jeff King. Jaynee is married to Steve and has three grown children and six grandchildren.


Kay is the assistant office manager and has worked at the clinic since 1993. Kay is married to Kent and has two grown children.  Kent is a farmer which means Kay keeps busy helping with the farm duties when not at the Animal Care Clinic of Topeka. 


Crystal started working at Victory Hill Farm (Dr. King's horse breeding farm) in the spring of 2011.  In October 2013, she began splitting her time between VHF and Animal Care Clinic of Topeka and in 2017 began working full time at the clinic. She serves as both an office and vet assistant. Crystal is married to Michael and has one step-daughter, Addy, a son Rhett, and newborn baby girl named Gray.


Karis is a sophomore at Berry College where she is studying to become a veterinarian. Karis works with us when she is home from college and serves as a vet assistant. She loves working with horses and especially loves spoiling her own horse, Cullen.
